About Frivillige.dkFrivillige.dk is a Danish meeting place that conveys commitment, interest, ideas and tasks between societies that need volunteers and individuals who want to make an effort.Frivillige.dk was launched in 2004 and had originated with the Association Øresund - a project that worked to improve conditions for cross-border union cooperation in the Øresund Region. Frivillige.dk cooperated with the City of Copenhagen, the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark, Danish Gymnastics and Sports Associations and the Danish Youth Council. Frivillige.dk has a Swedish sister site called Frivillig.se. The project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Responsible for the sites Frivillige.dk, Frivillig.se, Forening.se and Intyg.se are the Associaton Nonprofit commitment.
